Why the report that Alvaro Morata offers himself to La Liga giants is false

Alvaro Morata loves to play football regularly as does every player in the game, but his core duty is to score goals and unfortunately for the former Real Madrid striker, he has failed on that front. That is probably the reason for his frustration and according to Marca, Morata already wants to join Barcelona after 18 months at Chelsea.

The 26-year old is eager to switch clubs after failing in the Premier League and also struggling to keep his position in the first team. He is now reportedly seeking to return to Spain and Barcelona is his preferred destination.

There are a few reasons why it is impossible to believe the story albeit it comes from one of the leading sports portals in Spain. Having played with Real Madrid since his teenage days, it will be difficult, although not impossible to see Morata play for Los Blancos’ arch-rivals Barcelona.

He is also in a poor run of form and the fact that he thinks he is Barcelona quality at the moment makes it hard to believe. But players’ agents can be zealous at times and an approach may have been made after all.
