Chelsea’s on-loan striker Tammy Abraham has received the award for the Player of the Month in the English Championship after exploits in recent weeks.
The 21-year old has been phenomenal in front of goal and continues to show his worth for Aston Villa following their belief in him, shown by their pursuit of him last summer. He scored six goals in the month of November, including the incredible four goals against Nottingham Forest.
He has scored two more to make half a dozen goals, that helped Villa remain unbeaten the entire month.
Dean Smith’s side now sit only three points outside of the play-offs zone and hope Tammy’s goals will help them get further up the standings as the season wears on.
Abraham, who looks forward to making the mark at Stamford Bridge, admits it’s been a great few weeks and hopes to get better in the months to come.
“I’m delighted to be named player of the month. It’s been a great few weeks for us as a team as well as me personally. Hopefully we can continue that over a busy Christmas period and beyond.”
