Eden Hazard reveals why Zinedine Zidane’s departure from Real Madrid did not stop his dream to join Los Blancos

Chelsea forward Eden Hazard has kept up with his comments about a dream move to Real Madrid and the latest was made during an interview with Belgium news portal RMC.

Hazard says he still intends to play for Real Madrid at some point in his career and would make a decision on the next step in his career in the coming months. The Chelsea super star’s future has been hanging in the balance for the last few months after he refused a contract extension the club offered last summer and publicly announced his dream to play for Los Blancos.

He had earlier said that he dreams of working under Zinedine Zidane, as reported by ESPN, but after the French manager’s departure from Real last summer, Hazard still retains his ambition to wear the famous white shirt in Spain.

Next summer, Hazard’s deal at Stamford Bridge will have only one year remaining on it and could move to Madrid for cheap. Chelsea are trying to table a new deal that could keep him at the club for a few more years and also effectively hike his transfer fee should Real move in for him officially.

However, Hazard’s continuous comments about a possible move to the La Liga giants is making life difficult or the negotiators at Chelsea. It must be known though that Hazard had said earlier in an interview with Sky Sports that he could also explore the option of finishing his career at Chelsea.
