Eden Hazard has sent a warning to Chelsea’s rivals in the title race, according to the Metro.
They have quotes from the Belgian, saying that the Blues can’t be counted out in the title race yet, after back to back wins.
The Blues put in a real Jekyll-and-Hyde performance at the Amex Stadium, showing their class to go two up in the first half, and then going flaccid afterwards and letting the Seagulls back into the game.
A title challenge has never looked likely, but the fact is that we’ve beaten City, and if we can just stay close to them, we’ve always got a chance.
We might not ever become favourites to overtake them, but we can stay in touch with them. Every week towards the finish line we can keep pace with them makes an upset more likely.
Hazard has a point. But we have to stay focused on each game as it comes.
