According to a report by Marca in Spain, Chelsea have begun talks for the transfer of Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez, with Arsenal also interested.
The former Sevilla midfielder is one of the most talked about players in La Liga after his move to Barcelona. After featuring heavily for Villareal last term, Suarez has been a fringe player for the Camp Nou side this campaign and continues to compete with Arthur for a spot in the playmaking role.
The report by Marca says both Arsenal and Chelsea are interested in signing the 24-year old and talks have already begun to sign him. Barcelona have also reportedly quoted a price they want for the player, with the London giants still keen afterward.
With Italian Serie A giants AC Milan and fellow La Liga side Valencia likely to jump into the battle for Ernesto Valverde’s summer signing, it is said that Saurez actually prefers a move to the Premier League.
