Ousmane Dembele is having quite the bizarre season.
The Barcelona attacker is combining scoring vital and beautiful goals – see his effort against Spurs last night – with turning up late for training and being generally disobedient.
The former is befitting of his status as one of the most expensive transfers of all time. The latter – not so much.
Inevitably, there have been rumours that Barca are looking to move him on – certainly the moment he stops scoring he’s going to be more trouble than he’s worth – so inevitably we have to wonder if Chelsea might be interested.
The fee would be an issue, as we’re hardly going to be shelling out what the Spanish side paid for him two summers ago. But if he continues acting up, might his price tumble to a level we can reach?
It’s a long way off, but a situation worth keeping an eye on for sure.
