Chelsea keen to sell surprise star of 2015/16 season and quote £12 million as asking price

Chelsea are keen to offload some of their stars in the upcoming transfer window and according to the Sun, Victor Moses resurfaces as one of those unwanted by Maurizio Sarri.

The Nigeria international had been a revelation under Antonio Conte, who converted him from winger to right wing back in his favored 3-4-3 system. He played a key role when the Blues quickly asserted themselves under the Italian tactician and won the Premier League in his first season. Conte failed to keep his job however after two seasons, and Sarri replaced him with a completely different set of instructions on the pitch.

The differences also saw a number of places lose their positions in the team including Moses. Cesar Azpilicueta is preferred on the right side of the defense as the former Napoli trainer goes with a 4-3-3 formation. With Willian and Pedro competing for the spot on the right wing and Eden Hazard firmly holding on to the left, Moses has had games increasingly difficult to come by.

Now, a January move is on the cards and the Sun reports that Chelsea have placed a £12 million asking price on him.
