Aston Villa make bold decision on Tammy Abraham amid reports Chelsea want to recall striker after hot scoring streak

Chelsea are making plans to recall on-loan striker Tammy Abraham after the player’s hot scoring form in the English Championship this season.

The 21-year old has been in impressive form for the Claret and Blues after completing a season-long loan deal to the second tier club last summer. Abraham has scored 11 goals in 14 Championship games and is one of the most in-form players in English football.

According to the Birmingham Mail, Chelsea want to cut short Abraham’s stint at Villa Park and return him to Stamford Bridge in January, but will face opposition from Dean Smith and his technical assistants who are desperate to keep the player for the remainder of his temporary contract.

He has scored five goals in the last two games for Villa and would be a fine improvement on the current Blues strikers who have been struggling for goals after the first 14 matches of the Premier League campaign.
