AC Milan plot double swoop for Chelsea midfield stars in January

Chelsea must brace themselves for a possible raid on their stars in January after reports in Italy indicate that AC Milan are prepared to take up Cesc Fabregas and Tiemoue Bakayoko in the coming transfer windows.

Fabregas is a top target for the Rossoneri in January, with the Spain international’s contract with Chelsea expiring next summer, the Italian giants are keen to make a move for him in the New Year. If a deal is established with the player by January, Milan will be in pole position to land him when the season is over.

Adding to this interest is Milan’s consideration of on-loan star Bakayoko. The French star who struggled to find his feet in the Serie A is gradually making a good impression on the top brass at the club. Now, they want to explore the opportunity to sign him permanently next year as per the report by Calciomercato.

But the first option is Fabregas, although Sarri would not be keen to offload the playmaker unless he receives a replacement.
