Torino set to test Chelsea’s resolve with a permanent deal for on-loan star

It is getting increasingly difficult for Chelsea to prove to Ola Aina that they can offer him the number of minutes he requires at this stage of his career and Torino are set to turn the youngster’s head with a permanent deal according to reports in Italy.

The Nigeria right fullback was shipped out to Torino on a season-long loan deal last summer and his displays have been good enough to warrant the Serie A side to make an offer to sign him beyond the deal that ends in 2019.

In his entire career at Chelsea, Aina has played only six games, but after his impressive start to life in Italy, a report by the Evening Standard says Torino will begin to negotiations for a £8.7 million move to the Italian top flight club.

Aina is one of the latest Chelsea academy products destined for great things, and it is at the moment it is uncertain what the Blues would like to do with him but among the fans, they would hope the top hierarchy of the club make him an offer to stay.
