England face Croatia in the deciding Nations League group game in an hour, and the teams are in.
There’s one Chelsea man in the lineup – Ross Barkley. That’s not as many as we’d hoped, but it’s still one more than was featuring in most of England’s World Cup games.

It’s a huge match, and Gareth Southgate has gone with his strongest team. It’s a huge credit to Barkley that he’s forced his way in there given he’s effectively only been playing first team football for a few months after a long time out.
For Ruben Loftus-Cheek it’s another painful afternoon starting on the bench – although he is a Southgate favourite and almost certain to come off the bench at some point. It’s a shame he won’t get those valuable minutes, but as long as he’s still involved, that’s what counts.
Good luck England!
