Player Ratings: Chelsea players disappoint with flaccid Everton performance

Chelsea drew with Everton at Stamford Bridge in what was ultimately a very disappointing showing.

There were some bright spots for the Blues – notably Kepa Arrizabalaga in goal and David Luiz in the second half when he became a playmaker at the base of midfield, but otherwise the team largely disappointed.

The back four defended well and provided a good platform further up the pitch, but the midfield lacked attacking threat, and all three of the forwards disappointed in one aspect or another.

Willian messed up our best chance of the game when he shot instead of passing to Morata, the Spanish forward himself went down 3 times in the box in the game rather than trying to shoot, and Eden Hazard looked a little ring rusty after missing so much time.
