Maurizio Sarri reveals which of Chelsea’s four goals against PAOK delighted him the most

Maurizio Sarri has chosen which of the four goals scored by Chelsea against Europa League Group L opponents, PAOK, was his best.

The quartet goals scored on Thursday night at Stamford Bridge were all good in their own rights. Olivier Giroud grabbed two goals in the first half before Callum Hudson-Odoi and Alvaro Morata added a third and fourth. The first was a result of a great vision by Cesc Fabregas before a few sidesteps by Pedro opened up space for Giroud on the right to hit a first time shot past the goalkeeper.

Fabregas found Giroud with a lovely lofted pass for the second, with the French star volleying home from close range and that is what Sarri chooses as his best for the game.

He points to Fabregas’ accurate pass that found Giroud as a reason while reveling in the striker’s execution as well.

“It was really very good, but the pass from Cesc was really very good. An incredible pass.”

The two goals mean Giroud has four in total this season in all competitions.
