Kepa records impressive passing stat in Everton draw

Kepa Arrizabalaga is getting better and better this season after signing from Athletic Bilbao in the summer, and his ability with his feet is a major part of that.

The game against Everton on Sunday was no exception.

He recorded a perfect 100% passing accuracy rating, according to WhoScored, with all 27 of his attempts finding their mark.

He was playing things pretty simple – he only has one long ball recorded in the match. It was on target, of course. But the fact remains that his coolness to play those short passes rather than booting it when put under pressure as a lesser keeper might, is all part of why he’s useful for Maurizio Sarri and the team as a player.

That’s not to mention the excellent saves he made in the game. The draw was a disappointing result, but that’s not Kepa’s fault. He was flawless, and looks like an excellent signing already.
