Chelsea should brace themselves for a stunning discount deal that AC Milan plan to table in the coming weeks for Tiemoue Bakayoko.
The on-loan midfielder is currently under pressure to improve his performances after failing to convince since signing for Chelsea in the summer of 2017. He had struggled with injury in his early days for the Blues but later on failed to win a regular spot under Antonio Conte following consistently poor displays in the Premier League.
Having moved to Milan on loan for the rest of the season, Bakayoko was hoping to make an impression, and that has not gone too well. He now awaits the choice the Milan based club have to make on his future.
According to Tuttosport via Football Italia, Genarro Gattuso’s side are hoping to sign him for a meager £22.2 million instead of the £35.6 million initially agreed with Chelsea for a permanent deal. Earlier reports in Italy suggested Milan will not sign the French midfielder but offload him even before the season is over – does this new report means his recent improved showings might have swayed a few heads at San Siro?
