Awful Morata the lowest rated player in Chelsea’s draw

Chelsea fans got their hopes up that Alvaro Morata might be back after a clutch of goals in recent games, but those hopes were really damaged by a poor showing against Everton.

After bagging some goals against weaker opposition, Morata had to step things up against much tougher opposition.

He had the ideal opportunity too, facing off with Yerry Mina who was making his debut for the Toffees.

Instead, he was dominated by the Colombian all game, and was barely able to summon a shot in the encounter.

A quick glance at WhoScored tells you everything you need to know. The Spaniard was the lowest rated starting player in the starting lineups with a final score of just 5.91.

Plenty of fans around the stadium would have given him a lower mark than that, that’s for sure. Although when it comes to “completed fall to the floor”, he must be topping the charts.
