Alvaro Morata was the only Spain player to do this after defeat says angry Liverpool player

Alvaro Morata has not got a great reputation for his behaviour on the field at Chelsea, let’s be honest.

Quite apart from the way he throws himself around looking for free kicks, his frustration when he doesn’t get them is often taken out on the referee. There have been few players in Premier League history with such an astonishing rate of bookings for dissent.

But it seems as though things are a little different with his country. After Croatia beat Spain with a last minute winner in a thrilling game, only Morata – who had come on as a second half sub and missed one golden chance to win his country the game –  congratulated the winners.

That’s according to Dejan Lovren, the Croat centre back who had his own reasons to be gloating after the game, having got one over on his rival Sergio Ramos.

It’s nice to see that Morata’s manners are a little better when with his country – even if his finishing isn’t…
