3 Positives from Chelsea’s draw with Everton

Chelsea drew with Everton at Stamford Bridge today after an odd game that saw an exciting second half follow a poor first, but the Blues will really feel they could have won.

Here are some of the bright spots we picked out from the 0-0:

+The run goes on

While we didn’t get the three points that we needed, we did at least carry on our unbeaten record in the league this season. It’s small comfort from a game we should have won, but there’s no denying it shows how exceptional our start has been.

+Kepa’s in form

Kepa just hasn’t had that many games where he’s been seriously tested this season, making it pretty hard to assess him. But he was called into action a couple of times today, continuing a really good run for him as he looks increasingly settled.

+ Hazard’s return

He wasn’t as good as we needed him to be in the end, but Eden Hazard was there on the pitch, and got a full 90 under his belt. We’ve missed him these last few games, but we’ll need him more than ever against Spurs in our next fixture.
