He has two years remaining on his current deal at Stamford Bridge and could move for a cut-price fee next summer with only one year remaining on his contract at that point.
But OK Diario in Spain reports that Real Madrid are preparing to sweeten the deal by adding Gareth Bale to their offer in the negotiations. Diario are not the most credible source in Spain, but if this story were true, it would be a blockbuster to end all blockbusters.
