Revealed: The only two clubs N’Golo Kante will leave Chelsea for if he refuses to sign new contract

Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante will only leave the Premier League giants for Real Madrid or Barcelona if the two clubs come calling, according to reports from France.

Kante does not cut the figure of a man who could just turn his back on the club with a new contract on the table, but this is football and worse things happen every day, so we can always expect some fireworks here and there, even from ‘humble’ players like him.

The France international has been ever impressive since his signing by the Blues in the summer of 2016, following his strong but short career at the King Power stadium, helping Leicester City to a stunning Premier League victory. He has continued his fine form at Chelsea and helped the Blues win the League title in 2017.

Reports indicate that Chelsea have offered him a deal to extend his current deal but the offer is yet to be signed and Le 10 Sport via the Metro say that Kante would only leave Chelsea for one of the top two clubs in Spain.

Earlier reports have said the 27-year old could receive as much as £290,000 a week and become Chelsea’s highest paid player until Hazard puts pen to paper as well.
