Predicted XI: Eden Hazard and Mateo Kovacic miss out for new look Blues

Chelsea face Burnley in Premier League action tomorrow, and Maurizio Sarri will be looking to build up some momentum again with three points. Here’s who we think he will pick to face the Clarets:

At the back Kepa will continue, protected by the undisputed and hopefully well-rested back four of Azpi, Rudiger, Luiz and Alonso. None of them played in midweek, so they should all be fresh.

In the middle, we’ll see Jorginho and Kante for sure, but the third option is more open. Mateo Kovacic has been first choice, but he played in midweek, which leads us to suspect that Ross Barkley will get the nod.

The front line also has some uncertainty, with Eden Hazard a major doubt. Pedro is a cert after getting an hour in his legs midweek, and Willian will likely play opposite him.

Up front it’s a coin toss between Alvaro Morata, who was awful last time out, and Olivier Giroud, who will probably start despite playing 90 minutes against BATE Borisov.
