Predicted XI: Chelsea set to stick with Sarri’s favourite XI for Chelsea after injury news update

Chelsea face Manchester United at Stamford Bridge after a two week international break, and Maurizio Sarri should be able to pick his perfect XI again.

That means Kepa in goal, with Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso returning from their exploits with Spain to hold down the flanks.

In the middle, David Luiz should keep his place, and Maurizio Sarri confirmed in his press conference yesterday that he expected Antonio Rudiger to be fit to join him.

One person who Sarri did rule out however was Ross Barkley, meaning Mateo Kovacic is a cert to start with N’Golo Kante and Jorginho in the middle of the park.

Up front, we know Eden Hazard will play, but there’s a little more debate over the other two in that line. Despite Alvaro Morata’s recent goals we think Olivier Giroud will keep his place in the team, and Pedro should be back from his arm injury to complete the XI.
