Player Ratings: Poor Chelsea saved by late sucker punch

Chelsea saved a late point against Manchester United with a last minute equaliser from Ross Barkley.

It was a bizarre game, and it’s hard to rate players who played farily well in one half of the game and very badly in another, so their numbers have levelled out somewhat.

Here are our ratings from today’s game:

Kepa: 6 Left rooted by the two goals but otherwise competent.

Azpi: 5 Positionally shaky and put some poor crosses in – until the one that lead to the equaliser.

Rudiger: 6 Great header for the goal and some important interventions as we chased the game.

Luiz: 4 Caught out time and again.

Alonso: 7 Was a real threat and he burst into the box twice – but lay on the ground to allow United to equalise.

Kante: 7 Strong in the first half but his passing wasn’t up to scratch today.

Jorginho: 5 One of his worst games for us so far.

Kovacic: 5 Pretty poor considering his quality.

Willian: 5 Bad first half, worse second half.

Morata: 4 Dire throughout.

Hazard: 6 Great flashes but well controlled by Man U’s defence.
