Manchester United handed massive fitness boost as Mourinho favourite looks ready to take on Chelsea

Manchester United are in a weird moment.

They were in some dangerously bad form, and going 2-0 down to Newcastle following rumours that Jose Mourinho was about to be sacked looked like it was going to be the end for this chapter at Old Trafford.

But a second half turnaround bought the boss more time, and the two weeks of the international break now means nobody knows what kind of form or mindset the Red Devils will be in when they face Chelsea at Saturday lunchtime.

One thing we do know, however, is that they will have Marouane Fellaini available to them.

The Metro are reporting that Fellaini, who missed his country’s game with Holland, will be back for Man U’s next game, meaning Chelsea’s medical staff should be preparing their bandages and Savlon – Man U have their backs against the wall, and this one could turn into a bit of a battle.
