Chelsea are in no mood to allow their best players to leave the club especially if the name that accompanies a bid from a suitor is Eden Hazard.
In the coming weeks, the Blues top hierarchy are going to strengthen their grip on Hazard by offering an official deal. There had been rumors that there was an offer on the table for Hazard to extend his deal that currently ends in the summer of 2020, but respected Belgium journalist Kristof Terreur has revealed there is no offer at the moment.
Reading in Gazzetta that Chelsea have offered £300.000 a week to Eden Hazard (and that he’s ready to accept it). Didn’t Hazard say, just before the international break, that he was surprised that Chelsea hadn’t made an official offer as yet? #cfc pic.twitter.com/HfRqfkfQfI

Instead, Chelsea will commit their focus and energy in the coming weeks to offering the talismanic forward a new contract to extend his deal beyond 2020.
That will possibly do both parties a lot of good as the club can now expect a mouthwatering bid from Real Madrid and for Hazard, any interest from Los Blancos will be confirmed if they really press on with a bid.
Hazard has begun this season in spectacular fashion, playing a huge part in Chelsea’s joint-top position at the summit of the Premier League standings. He has scored eight goals in nine appearances this season.
