Chelsea have received good news from the camp of Real Madrid after Los Blancos reportedly prepare to offload Marco Asensio.
The 22-year old is one of the players in the current Real squad expected to put up a better fight this season in the absence of Cristiano Ronaldo, who only left for Juventus this summer. Real are performing abysmally in La Liga are and certainly not up to the standards they set for themselves in the UEFA Champions League.
Without Ronaldo, they seem to miss obvious quality in front of goal and as the pressure mounts on almost all the players in the team, Asensio has been picked out by some factions at the club for most of their problems.
Now according to Marca, the Chelsea and Liverpool target will be made available for sale. A fee of £100m has been slapped on his services and with Chelsea nosing around for his availability in recent times, the Blues may have just discovered how the negotiations will begin should they step up their interest in the Spain international.
