Maurizio Sarri begins January transfer plan with Fiorentina winger top of attack shortlist

Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri is currently monitoring the situation of Fiorentina winger Frederico Chiesa as he plans a January swoop for the Italy international.

The budding star has been one of the most promising youngsters in Italian football and is expected to make the Italy senior national team for some time to come if he maintains his current form at club level.

Current Chelsea boss, according to the Sunday Express, is looking at bringing him to his side in West London in January, as he continues to monitor his progress in the Italian Serie A.

The report by the Times continues to say that Juventus had a £50 million bid for Chiesa’s services during the summer transfer window rejected by La Viola and if the Blues want to steal him from the Serie A giants next year, the Premier League side have to register a mammoth offer.

With Willian, Eden Hazard and Pedro firing on all cylinders, it will be a surprise if the top officials allow Sarri to make a big money move for the Fiorentina winger although his age will mean the 20-year old will be seen as a future star.
