Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud has overtaken France legend Zinedine Zidane in the all-time goal scoring ranking in the history of the Les Bleus.

Giroud scored his first goal for France in over 807 minutes, when he converted for his side in their UEFA Nations League game against the Netherlands last weekend. He went the entire World Cup without a goal when France secured the trophy in Russia this summer.
His goal took him to 32 for France, one over former France captain Zidane, who scored 31 in his highly successful years with the national team.
