Both N’Golo Kante and Eden Hazard have been included in the Fifpro World XI, voted for by FIFA Captains and managers worldwide.
The outstanding World Cup campaigns of both players clearly weighed heavily in the minds of the voters, as both were members of a pretty dismal Chelsea season.
Mo Salah and a potential third Chelsea entry – although we couldn’t claim him now – Thibaut Courtois, were left off the final XI.

Oddly, after a title winning year we had none, and now we have two among the world’s best XI.
Let’s hope that some Sarri magic and some smart transfer window moves can keep that number ticking up as the seasons go by.
Who is the next closest to being in that team? Maybe Kepa one day, Jorginho if we really dominate in the Champions League.
Dare we dream enough to say… Mason Mount?
