“Chelsea have been one of the great teams so far” – West Ham captain warns Chelsea will not have it easy in their next match

Chelsea are set to face West Ham United in the Premier League and after winning their first five games of the season, opposition teams will be wary but not West Ham United captain, Pablo Zabaleta.

The Argentina international has revealed he and his teammates are ready to welcome the Blues to the Olympic stadium next weekend and will match Chelsea boot for boot on Sunday. The Hammers have struggled to find a consistent form this season but Zabaleta is unfazed.

“Chelsea have a lot of quality but if we play with the same intensity and concentration as we did against Everton, then who knows? Anything can happen, especially at home, with the fans behind the team,” Zabaleta said today.

Chelsea have been one of the great teams so far this season but you always need to be positive and think you can win games.”

Maurizio Sarri upon arrival at Chelsea promised to play high octane, fluid football and so far has succeeded in turning the mentality of his players around, after they got used to solid defending and counter-attacking under Antonio Conte in the last couple of years.

Chelsea these days dominate possession against every opponent they face and with whispers from the club insisting they can still improve, the best maybe, is yet to be seen from the boys in blue.

Chelsea face West Ham United next Sunday, chasing their sixth consecutive win of the Premier League season.
