Ben Chilwell has just been given a callup to the England squad.
He, along with fellow callup Demarai Gray and establish stater Harry Maguire, make up a key trio for Leicester, and one that Chelsea should be keeping a close eye on.
English players always cost a premium, especially those at rich established clubs like the Foxes. So if you want them, it’s best to move for them before they break out. Maguire would already probably cost north of £40m considering the new contract he signed today.
21 year old Chilwell has finally made himself the number one option in his position, and his value will only rise as the season goes on. An early deal for him could end up saving us a huge amount of money in the long run.
Maguire syndrome is real, and if keeps on playing like this, Ben will get a serious case of it.
