PSG man is the new name on Chelsea’s transfer radar

In Spain, Chelsea are in the football press quite a lot at the moment.

That mainly thanks to the well documented interest of Real Madrid in Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois.

While the chase for the former has gone a little cold, the interest in the goalkeeper is just waiting for a few more pieces to fall into place.

As Spanish paper AS report today, Chelsea are prepared to sell their goalkeeper, and the fee and personal terms have all been agreed for some time now – all that remains is for Chelsea to find a replacement.

We know the names that have been doing the rounds – Jordan Pickford, Jack Butland and Gigi Donnarumma are all mentioned in the piece – but there’s a new name in the mix in this article: Kevin Trapp.

The PSG stopper has been shunted even further down the pecking order by the arrival of Gigi Buffon this summer, and would be available on the cheap.

He’d be a step down from Courtois for sure, but we’re running out of time, and there’s nobody better on the market it seems.
