“I know this is a club that believes in young people” – Chelsea starlet joins new club and aims dig at Blues for not trusting younsgters

Chelsea defender Ola Aina has moved to join Torino on a season long loan deal and has immediately taken a dig at his parent club for not trusting young players.

The defender is one of the hottest prospects at Chelsea and featured occasionally under Antonio Conte season, but he was never really a strong contender for a starting role at the club.

Aina has left the London based club to join the Serie A team this summer as he chases more minutes following his three substitute appearances in Conte’s first season at the club.

Last season, he spent the entire campaign with Hull City in the Championship playing all but two of their games.

Speaking to Torino’s official website, via Football London, the 21-year old admits this is his time to shine and praises Torino for their believe in young players like him, as he aims to take command of his career.

“Torino has been following me for some time, I hope to do well. I know this is a club that believes in young people and this is very important.

In Italy I know that I can learn a lot, especially in the ability to be in the field, because the tactics and organisation of play are essential. I really want to experience this new experience to the full. Now it’s my turn, I cannot wait to get started.”
