Chelsea’s flying wing back rumored to be on Real Madrid radar this summer

Chelsea are hoping there are not going to be any further bids from foreign clubs this summer with the English transfer window now over.

But with other transfer windows open across Europe, clubs are still making deals and the Guardian reports that Chelsea should be prepared to receive a bid from Real this summer, with Marcos Alonso on their radar.

Alonso is not new to Real Madrid’s hierarchy having come through the ranks at the Santiago Bernabeu. Alonso was offloaded by the La Liga giants in the summer of 2010 to Bolton, and then made moves to Sunderland, Fiorentina and then Chelsea in 2016.

Having flourished under Antonio Conte in the two seasons he has been at the club, Alonso is now attracting interest from his former employers in Spain.

But this is not the first time the marauding left full back has drawn interest from Los Blancos, with the player in the past, admitting his first love will always be Real, as per the Sun.
