Chelsea vs. Arsenal: Player Ratings

Chelsea beat Arsenal 3-2 in a thrilling game at Stamford Bridge this evening, and we’ve prepared our player ratings direct from West London.

It was an up and down game all round, with lots of players having big highs and lows through the 90 minutes.

Marcos Alonso was the perfect example of this. The left back was run ragged at times, exposed horribly by Chelsea’s setup, but he was a menace in the Arsenal half, assisting a goal and then smashing I the winner.

There were also notable showings from Pedro, who was extremely dangerous and caused the Arsenal defence nightmares with his speed.

Mateo Kovacic and Eden Hazard also impressed hugely off the bench, and they arrived in the second half to turn the game in Chelsea’s favour.

Here’s how we rated the Blues’ individual performances:

Kepa: 6

Azpi: 7

Rudiger: 6

Luiz: 6

Alonso: 8

Jorginho: 6

Kante: 6

Barkley: 7

Willian: 5

Morata: 5

Pedro: 7

Subs:

Hazard: 8

Kovacic: 7

Giroud: 6
