Chelsea have made a late, large bid for Nabil Fekir of Lyon as they try to secure a truly impressive ending to their summer transfer window.
The Blues look like they’ve shut up shop when it comes to imports, having brought in two players in the last 24 hours.
But Pipe Sierra from Colombia claims that they’ve launched a speculative effort for the World Cup winner, with just hours left in the window.

Now let’s not take him too seriously – he doesn’t even have a Blue tick after all – but he’s a pretty big name in South American football reporting.
This still seems far fetched, and we would be wary of a player who recently failed a medical, but there’s no denying that signing a player of his ability to get Blues fans seriously excited about the upcoming season.
