Russian source claims Chelsea’s midfielder move is done deal

In Russia, the word is that reported Chelsea transfer Aleksandr Golovin has already signed for the club.

That’s according to Football Italia, who have quotes from former CSKA boss Valeri Gazzaev saying that the deal isn’t just likely, it’s done.

There has still been no official confirmation from either club, so we’ll have to hold our fire, but it looks like this is a cert now.

Football Italian then cite his agent who produces a denial, but either way the evidence seems overwhelming on this one.

We’re always happy to see us sign talented young players, but there are certainly concerns about how it will affect the development of some of the club’s brightest youngsters, and what will be done with first team rejects like Danny Drinkwater.

A manager urgently needs to be appointed to ensure that the right decisions are made. It’s not clear who ‘s making football decisions right now, and that’s terrifying.
