Chelsea midfielder Kenedy is on his way to Newcastle United to join Rafa Benitez’s side this summer, after his successful six month loan deal last season, with Sky Sports reporting the player has competed a medical.
The Brazil winger was one of the best players for Newcastle last season after he moved from Chelsea in January, to play at the St. James’ Park for the last six months of the season.
Playing majority of the time on the flanks, Kenedy made 13 appearances for Newcastle and scored two goals in the process, setting the stage alight as the Magpies kept their place in the Premier League, amid slight danger of being relegated.
The 22-year old is thought to be highly ranked by former Real Madrid and Liverpool manager Benitez, and is keen to be reunited with his target. A deal is likely to be confirmed soon but according to the report by Sky Sports, there is no clause to buy permanently after the loan deal this season.
