Chelsea are in the hunt for a new striker this summer with the technical team not convinced of the attack combination of Alvaro Morata, Olivier Giroud and Michy Batshuayi.
The Blues are hoping to mix things up a bit a the next few weeks will be defining of how Maurizio Sarri’s era will look like when the club’s confirmed transfers are complete.
The Blues will likely enter negotiations for Gonzalo Higuain and this is after Gianluca Di Marzio reported that there has been an initial contact between the two clubs and with serious negotiations yet to begin. Juventus have signed Cristiano Ronaldo, and to balance the squad and the finances, the Turin giants are hoping to off load some players and that might include Higuain.
The report by Di Marzio goes on to say the Blues will likely sell one of their forwards before seriously beginning the hunt for a new striker with one of Batshuayi and Morata most likely to leave this summer.
