“Everyone thinks he can follow him to Chelsea” – Agent of top Chelsea target hints Italian could move to Premier League

Chelsea top target Danielle Rugani could find it tough even if he wanted to move to the Premier League and amid speculation that he is on the wishlist of Sarri, his agent is adamant any interest for the player will be listened to by Juventus.

The Blues are reportedly very keen to sign the young defender who won 22 appearances last season in the Serie A, while competing with great defenders like Giorgio Chiellini, Andrea Barzagli and Medhi Benatia.

The defender has been highly rated by Chelsea’s new head coach Maurizio Sarri and was thought to be interested in signing him while manager of Napoli.

Now as Chelsea manager, Sarri wants to still train the promising defender and make him a great in the game. That will depend on Juventu’s stance this summer, but Rugani’s agent says Chelsea could make a bid a test the waters although what is sure is Juventus will definitely listen to what the Blues have to offer.

“Rugani to Chelsea? I’m happy for Sarri because no one thought he could get there and now here he is coaching Chelsea. It’s a great victory for everyone, even for Napoli it was crucial. Then, given how highly he rates Rugani, everyone thinks he can follow him to Chelsea.

However, it must be remembered that Juventus also didn’t accept any negotiations in the past, neither with Napoli nor with any other team, and they’ve always shown willingness to keep the player. That will hasn’t changed. Rugani himself hasn’t expressed willingness to go elsewhere, but it must also be said that if there’s an offer, it’ll be listened to because there’s respect in football.”
