Criticised Chelsea midfielder should stay and fight for fresh start under Sarri

Tiemoue Bakayoko has dismissed the idea that he could be leaving the club, and at the moment that looks like a sensible decision.

Le10sport have quotes from the midfielder who says that he’s happy in England and wants to do well at Chelsea. A loan offer is on the table from Sevilla, and Chelsea seem to be willing to accept it if Baka wants out.

The fact that he showed so much promise the season before, and the fact that we have a new manager who works in a totally different way to Antonio Conte, means that Baka will likely get another shot – and he deserves it.

He’ll be a second string midfielder, but hopefully he can show enough in Europa League games to earn first team starts too.

We all know the potential is there, he’s just got some serious mental obstacles to come.

Hopefully a fresh start under a new manager will see him on the front foot this campaign.
