Chelsea’s first signing under Maurizio Sarri revealed as bid close to £30m prepared to be submitted this week

Chelsea have a little over a month to put together a squad that will compete next season in a variety of competitions under their new manager who replaces Antonio Conte and are keen on signing Aleksandr Golovin in the coming days.

With new Premier League rules insisting club sign players before the start of the campaign on August 11, Chelsea know they are behind time in completing deals for next season as per the Daily Mail.

They are now willing to begin a bidding process for the signature of one of Russia’s World Cup stars, Golovin. The attacker contributed two assists in his side’s first game of the tournament, and scored one goal all against Saudi Arabia.

Chelsea saw his potential and are willing to make him Sarri’s first signing this summer with the Italian manager also expected to complete a move to the club this week according to the Guardian.

However the report by the Daily Mail says the Blues will have to wait till Russia’s campaign in over in the World Cup to be able to discuss personal terms with Golovin.
