Chelsea are looking to wrap up their transfer business as early as possible and that will mean attempting to seal deals for new arrivals and departures before the frenetic end to the transfer window resumes and that has led to the admission by the club to let Thibaut Courtois leave to Real Madrid so early after the World Cup, but the deal can only go through after one condition is met.
According to respected journalist in Belgium, Kristof Terreur, the Blues will sell Courtois to Real this summer but only when a replacement has been found.
Thibaut Courtois is in Madrid, according to Twitter.
Close but no cigar: he isn’t.

Terreur in a tweet on Tuesday revealed there had been talks with Real last week, but there was no conclusion to the negotiations with Chelsea seeking to seal a deal for a replacement before turning over Courtois to his suitors.
The Blues are rumored to be interested in signing AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker and fresh reports also link them with a reunion with Petr Cech.
