Chelsea on the verge of completing deals for two of Napoli’s most valued men

Chelsea could be announcing new deals with new men this week after Italian press have reported heavily that Maurizio Sarri and his former player at Napoli Jorginho are on their way to Stamford Bridge.

Both men have been linked with the Blues all summer but the midfielder, Jorginho, was rumored to be inching closer to a move to join Manchester City instead. However, this week began with hijacking hints from the Italian media and it seems all but confirmed now.

According to respected journalist Alfredo Pedulla, the Blues are very close to announcing the two men from Italy as their new signings.

Sarri is expected to take charge of the Chelsea squad, as Chelsea prepare to sack Antonio Conte, but the former Juventus and Italy manager has been present at the Blues’ training since Monday and is ready to remain at the club until his compensation of £9m is paid to him when sacked.
