Chelsea have confirmed the loan of Kenedy to Newcastle.
The Brazilian spent the second half of last season there, and proved to be a massive hit on Tyneside, providing a creative influence in Rafa Benitez’s side that they had previously been lacking.

He inspired a previously solid but unspectacular team to a strong finish that saw them climb the table through the final weeks of the season.
He's back!

His return will be hailed at St James’ Park where he made himself a cult hero, but it also works out for Chelsea, who will see the Brazilian raising his price once again if he has another successful season.

Next summer we will be able to see how he’s done, and whether he finally deserves a shot at the first team. He’s certainly waited long enough for his chance, and one would imagine next summer will be the crunch point for his future at Chelsea.
