Conte has been at logger heads with the top hierarchy of Chelsea since the start of last season, clamoring for quality signings while bemoaning the arrivals at the club in the previous two transfer windows.

Following the Premier League title win two seasons ago, being Conte maiden in England, Chelsea have taken a downturn in their fortunes and have barely looked the side that imposed themselves devastatingly on the top flight.

The failed to make the top four last season, and were by far the poorest side in the race for the title. Despite winning the FA Cup trophy last season, Conte failed to win over the the top officials at Chelsea and with a year remaining on his deal, Conte was not offered a new deal.

Maurizio Sarri is expected to take over the reins at Chelsea this summer according to the Evening Standard’s Simon Johnson.
