Chelsea are getting ready to make a staggering bid for AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker, who is thought to be on his way to Liverpool if their current bid on the table is accepted by the Italian club.
The Blues are ‘desperate’ to make Alisson’s move to the Premier League theirs, with the Times reporting that Chelsea preparing a £70 million bid for the Brazil international. That will be a significant £8 million increase to what the Reds are offering for the goalkeeper, as per the Mirror, and Liverpool now fear Chelsea could do to them what Manchester City suffered in the transfer of former Napoli midfielder Jorginho, according to the Times’ report.
