It’s a rag tag squad made up of some youngsters and some first team players who weren’t at the World Cup.
Without the team’s stars, Maurizio Sarri will get an up close chance to see some of his new charges in action, and will get a long look at players who won’t necessarily feature a huge amount in the first team.

Many of these guys will be loaned or transferred permanently, and most of the young players will return to the youth team. Until then, they have a window now to impress the new coach.
Some of them he won’t even have heard of, but they have the perfect chance to make a name for themselves down under.
