Chelsea given opportunity to bring back legend to Stamford Bridge as club’s number one

Chelsea could be getting ready for a sensational transfer of one of the club’s legends in the modern era as reports in England now say the Blues have been offered a chance to re-sign Petr Cech.

The six-time Premier League champions are getting ready for a very busy next few weeks as they have little time to firm up transfers for Maurizio Sarri who only arrived to replace Antonio Conte as head coach last week. But replacements will be the name of the transfer game at Stamford Bridge this summer. Some senior players may have to leave to pave way for new arrivals.

One such movement might be Thibaut Courtois, who personally has a dream of playing in Spain again after his days with Atletico Madrid. If he leaves to Real Madrid, the Blues will need a replacement and As Roma’s Alisson Becker has been reported to be on their wishlist.

But another man could also be, Petr Cech. Cech certainly is not Chelsea’s prime goalkeeping target but the Daily Mail suggests the former shot stopper, who made a name for himself in his 11-year stay at Chelsea, could return after Arsenal offer to release him to the Blues this summer.

The Gunners have brought in Leno from the German Bundesliga this summer and is certain to start games when the Premier League kicks off in a few weeks.
