Chelsea’s Aleksandr Golovin move is almost complete, according to rumours from Sky.
Sky’s Kaveh Solhekol is re-reporting the news from his Italian counterparts.
Sky Italy: Chelsea close to agreeing deal to sign CSKA Moscow midfielder Aleksandr Golovin

Recently there had been whispers that Monaco were trying to hijack the deal, but they never really stood a chance if Chelsea chose to bring their full financial muscle to bear.
The signing of Golovin would be a very interesting one, but it would surely precipitate the departure of at least one player from an increasingly bloated squad.
The addition of Jorginho now mean Chelsea have the Italian, Cesc Fabregas, N’Golo Kante, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Danny Drinwkater and Ruben Loftus Cheek competing in those positions.

Adding Golovin without taking one of them out of the equation would be really excessive. Moving players on is something Chelsea do well, but we must come to terms with the fact early on that it’s an issue, and something we need to deal with.
